Five of my all time favourite meals!

I love food so much! I am a big foodie and appreciate food in all forms. So I decided to do a quick post about 5 of my favourite meals that I love so much and share them with my faithful followers ­čÖé

  1. Lasagna┬á– There is nothing more better than a quality beef lasagna┬áwith loads of bechamel sauce on top and some garlic bread on the side! DELICIOUS ­čÖé
  2. Macaroni cheese – I love macaroni cheese, I’m a massive fan of cheese and therefore this meal is the one.
  3. Chilli Con Carne – This is my second favourite, I love the meat and kidney beans especially with plain white rice and all the spices I could possibly handle! As a student this is cheap and easy so I tend to eat it A LOT!
  4. Roast Dinner – Nothing better than a complete roast dinner with tasty stuffing, hot gravy,┬áYorkshire┬ápuddings and all the trimmings!
  5. Mash, Mince and gravy – Now this is a standard meal but it oh so tasty, I love mince with gravy and tons of home made mash potato, it’s a definite favourite of mine.

The Health Benefits of Honey

Honey – That oh so sweet golden looking substance that we all know so well! It’s good in glasses of hot milk, it’s good over toast, it’s good over porridge but what else is this golden treat good for? So I thought I would do a little post about the apparent health benefits of honey that are circulating the internet ­čÖé

  1. Scientists have said that honey contains strong anti-bacterial qualities which is why it has been used timelessly throughout the centuries to heal wounds, allergies, coughs and general ailments. 
  2. It makes a wonderful skin moisturizer and can reduce acne in some cases.
  3. Honey can make a powerful anti-oxidant and immunity protector.
  4. It can reduce the irritation in a mosquito bite when applied.
  5. Allegedly it can help aid gastrointestinal disorders such as colitis.
  6. It’s a natural energy booster.

So if you thought that sweet treat was unhealthy think again, there are many health benefits to honey and this is just a few of them. There are a variety of different types of honey as well with a range of flavours and aromas.
