Fashion Union is a wonderful online store that has some awesome pieces of clothing! I love regularly looking through what they have to offer and the prices are incredibly cheap for the quality and style they provide, so it is a definite go to when looking for some unique pieces of fashionable clothing.
I wanted to do another sample review for them because their service has always been excellent and the clothes they stock are beautiful and sophisticated but casual and edgy as well, so I luckily got to review the Vashti Embellished Shoulder Jumper in Mint*!
I anticipated the little packet that would come in the post in the next few days and I was excited, when it finally arrived I was pleasantly surprised with this little number. It’s a sweet pastel mint green and the quality of the material is really soft, just thick enough to be warm but not to chunky and overwhelmingly hot so it was perfect and the jumper itself comes with embellished shoulders which is a bright edition to a normal jumper! (Hint the title, sparkle sparkle :D)
In the photo’s below I chose to wear the jumper with a leather skirt and black tights because it was cold outside! But in my preference I believe that the jumper goes well with all types of clothing such as jeans but especially looks good with leather! 🙂

I would like to thank Fashion Union once again! 🙂
So this year there is set to be some really intriguing and adventurous trends to walk the catwalk and pave a pathway into our hearts. With this in mind I have seen some key trends already within magazines such as Vogue and ELLE and I thought that I would mention my favourite picks from this years Summer and Autumn’s trends to come since there are some real fantastic pieces! 🙂
Bare: Nude and bare colours are a big trend this Summer and Autumn, these light hue’s are a perfect season colour for any piece of clothing or accessory especially shoes such as heels and flat pumps and this is because they make your legs look longer, something which many women wish for! So if that sounds like you then grab yourself a pair of nude heels and watch the compliments flow in.
Oriental Infusion: Recently on the catwalk there has been an influx of oriental infused designs and trends sweeping through the fashion world, from china patterns to delicate embroidery and origami cuts, this overall trend is so elegant and colourful it makes a definite favourite for Summer and Autumn.
1920’s: Gatsby has been more than a cinema hit, it has been a worldwide global phenomenon passing the 1920’s style around and capturing the hearts of many. Que the mass of 1920’s flapper dresses, glitzy accessories and an influx of pearls and embroidery!
Geometric: Geometric shapes and cuts are a big trend this year in Summer and Autumn, colourful and bold they make a strong confident statement in pieces of our favourite clothing. Plus they give great shape to all your assets in the best places!
Leather: Leather has been a big trend for a long while now, capturing our attention a couple of months back and still managing to contain our attention leather has been a contagious fashion trend. Leggings, tops and dresses all are some of our favourite pieces which come in leather and one of the best things about the material? It’s figure hugging which means it accentuates your curves and other assets.
Hope you enjoyed! 🙂
Every lady and girl around the globe will know how hard it is to pick just one colour to paint their nails when deciding from a range of colours and styles, it can be hard and stressful to say the least! When I want to choose a nail polish to wear I spend ages eliminating the choices of colours and then spend even longer deciding whether or not I have made the right choice, sometimes it gets to the point where I put a shade on and decide it looks terrible and I should have gone for that beautiful pink rose shade instead of a dull shade of grey and I will take it all off and start again.
So this Summer with a range of new shades being released each week by high street retailers and stores, it’s going to be a tough decision but luckily I am here to help you decide with these top Summer picks!
White: White is a very versatile colour which can be wonderful as a nail varnish, it goes with all outfits and clothing choices and it can look amazing. It’s not really a usual choice when someone comes to paint their nails so this choice although different, will make a great statement and is a personal favourite of mine.
Peach: Peach is a very light and sweet hue that is perfect for Summer and will give you a warm Summer glow.
Blue: Such a vibrant colour and can come in a range of shades such as baby blue, kingfisher blue and cobalt blue. This colour is very strong and bright and will make a great addition to many Summer time outfits.
Red: Always a favourite! There is something risky but fun about wearing red nail varnish, it stands out and makes a statement and can look incredibly stylish and beautiful.
Pink: Whether it be baby pink, pastel pink, powder pink, peachy pink, dark pink…the list of shades are endless which always makes pink a great addition to any outfit!
With these colours in mind, I hope you enjoyed this article! 🙂

What three things do you blog about most: I mainly write about art, books and beauty. But I have many passions so I always make room for fashion, lifestyle and music related posts to. (I like to call it ‘The home of creativity’).
Name three words to describe your blog: Creative, inspirational and fun!
When did you first start blogging: I first started blogging just over a month ago (sometime in April) and I’m so glad I did!
Why did you begin to blog: You could say up until the point I first started blogging, my life hadn’t turned out quite how I’d envisioned. I needed a rather large distraction, a place where I could sit back, relax and be myself. As a child I was an incredibly enthusiastic writer, so I was a little shocked that blogging had never occurred to me before. On top of that I was also looking to build meaningful relationships with other bloggers (that’s you guys *cough* Mary *cough*). Overall though its my passions that formed ‘AmyloosWorld’.
What’s one blogging tip that you would share with other potential bloggers: I would say never ignore the other wonderful bloggers around you. We shouldn’t forget we’re all in the same boat here. Each and every one of us have something to share in the blogosphere, so just be selfless and help anybody in need of it (in any possible way that you can). You’ll meet some amazing people and maybe even build life-long friendships; in turn they’ll give you the love and support you need to make your blog a success. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Do you see yourself still blogging in three/five years time: (Is this a trick question?) OF COURSE! Writing comes naturally to me; I don’t think it will ever just disappear. I enjoy every second and want it to last forever! (Don’t you?).
What’s one of the best things about being a blogger: Doing what I love is extremely important to me; it keeps me excited and content (you have this duty that was never there before, and you want to fulfil it). On a more personal note, the best thing to happen so far to me as a blogger is meeting Mary and completing my first commission. I have to give her all the credit for interviewing me and promoting my work on her blog (cheers to Mary!). I also love the rush of happiness you get when someone new starts following. It’s heart-warming to know that people love reading what I write (a few years ago I would have laughed in my own face).
Has blogging helped you significantly in any other way: It’s helped me feel much more confident about my appearance and my sense of style. All of a sudden I’ve grasped who I really am (something I was previously unsure of). It’s certainly changed my life for the better. Even though I can’t predict the future, this journey of self-discovery is definitely worth the time spent.

Name three words to describe your blog:
When did you first start blogging: It was back in early 2011, a couple of months after I had just started university. It felt like the perfect time in a sense, an opportunity to try my hand at something rather new to me.
Why did you begin to blog: This may seem a little funny but I believe I owe part of my interest with blogging to the online game Neopets. When I was 12 I was a massive fan and after a couple of months I began to create websites which offered free graphics to others to use on their accounts. I remember teaching myself the basics of html/css and then getting involved in photoshop. As I got older and the internet got more exciting I found these graphics progressing into other kinds of graphics that people could use on myspace for instance, such as backgrounds and layouts. I still remember the thrill I got from creating and getting to know the community back then which is exactly the same thrill I get today. A few years past and I found myself leaving my tom-boy ways when it came to clothing and really finding myself interested in style. It was this personal change that helped me discover a few fashion blogs and I was hooked ever since. I loved the fact I could learn from them, I often found myself saying ‘I’ll try that combination’ or ‘Maybe I’ll try wearing a skirt’. They helped me discover what I liked and disliked and especially what clothes suited me. Since then I was eager to get involved but being a painfully shy 16-17 year old it really restricted me. It wasn’t until a few years later at university that I designed a blog heading using a few simple photoshop skills remembered from the previous years of Neopets and went ahead and created Tattyboots.
What’s one blogging tip that you would share with other potential bloggers: Having variety in what you post is something I think is key for keeping things fresh and exciting, not just for your audience but for yourself. It’s incredibly easy to become bored with your blog so posting an outfit one day and then reviewing your favourite book the next seems far more exciting than sticking to one topic. Everyone has more than one thing they enjoy so why not share it? I think people can worry too much over what people want to see so you tell yourself ‘nah, I won’t post about that – no one will like it’. I’m definitely guilty of that in the beginning, I focused more on outfits than anything else but then my drawings soon crept in, they were never as popular as my outfit posts but it didn’t stop me sharing them. Through drawing it helped expand a new audience that I may have never achieved through just posting outfits, so never be scared to try out new things.
Do you see yourself still blogging in three/five years time: Sure, if it’s still around then why not! I get a real pleasure from it, especially when it comes to sharing illustrations for instance as feedback is what helps me to understand what are my strengths and weaknesses.
What’s one of the best things about being a blogger: For me it’s knowing that folks seem to like what I do, it has also given me opportunities such as my most recent which is designing the poster and tickets for a creative magazine called Prototype. That would never have happened I imagine without the blog.
Has blogging helped you significantly in any other way: It’s helped me become more comfortable in myself as a person and as a creative, especially recently I dauntingly decided to offer blogger designs. I remember putting it off for months due to not believing in myself so I’m glad I followed that through as I was contacted by a few people which really warmed my heart. It’s also got me communicating with a whole bunch of other people I just wouldn’t have known without going into blogging. Also another perk is when I find myself in one of those moods where I cannot figure out what to wear so I’ll have a browse through the blog, you know it’s surprising how useful that has actually been for me haha!

Has blogging helped you significantly in any other way: My English is way better then before and I get to know new products and people that I didn’t know yet.
*So a little while ago I emailed Bella Vita Boutique, a very cute and sweet online boutique that sells a range of quirky accessories such as scarves and bracelet’s in a range of unique designs and colours! I automatically adored a certain scarf that I saw on the boutique’s website store and wanted to do a review of it immediately, I emailed to see whether they would do a promotional exchange with me and they happily agreed much to my delight! I am so happy and honoured to get to do a review for this cute scarf and boutique and would definitely want to help promote their boutique again in the future!
Today in my post I got a little parcel and inside was a beautifully hand wrapped present (my scarf) the whole packaging itself was so pretty! Pink tissue paper and a cute pink ribbon covering the scarf neatly made me super excited to open it.
Today I wore this beautiful soft and stylish snow leopard scarf with a black vest, black leather leggings and a chocolate brown long sleeve cotton cardigan, the chocolate cardigan and the snow leopard scarf complimented each other beautifully and worked well with the black leather leggings and black vest. I would recommend every fashion blogger and fashion obsessed girl to take a look at Bella Vita Boutique and check out the amazing pieces they have in stock, at super cheap prices!

Thank you all!
So I love the whole floral headband trend and I have been searching endlessly for one for ages now, I have searched long and hard in so many shops to prevail with nothing. If a retailer did have one then it wasn’t a pretty one but the majority of places I looked including online were either far too expensive or sold out! But today I went into Claire’s and I doubted myself before I went in that there wouldn’t be any but I was surprised to find a nice little collection of floral headbands by the doorway! – Surprise.
I found a really cute one that goes with my hair colour and also compliments my face nor is it to big or in your face which is great, this is the floral headband I had been waiting for! My Summer piece, so here are some pictures below of me wearing my new little accessory and I love love love it!
