5 things I want to buy…

So I haven’t blogged in a little while and that’s because I’ve not been feeling so well lately but luckily I went to the doctors and I should be feeling much better soon! I have a ton of blog posts to write and I am trying to squish them all out so you all don’t get to bored of me (I hope you already haven’t haha) If you’ve been tagging along on my blog you’ll know I attempted the 30 day photo challenge, sadly I flopped that because I only managed to get to day 19! (Sorry!) However I’m on the look out for other lists/challenges and such to try so if you have any suggestions pass them my way! πŸ™‚

Anyway so I thought I would do a little post about 5 things I want to buy when I have enough money because I am always adding stuff to my mental list in my head! So lets begin…

  1. Running shoes – This is the constant excuse I use for not doing exercise, the lack of proper footwear to do such strenuous activities! I do actually want to get a pair though, running in converse isn’t fun nor comfortable.

  2. BooTea Tea – A ‘teatox’, I’m not usually one for these sort of products as I rarely believe in them however after a good duration reading their website and also looking at other girls results on twitter, I’m going to give it a go just purely because I am trying to be more healthier from this point onward. (Google them if you’ve never heard of them, it’s worth it!)

  3. Soap & Gloryβ„’ Thick & Fast Flash Extensions Mascara High Definition Collagen Coat – I was looking for a long time for a new mascara, I like to keep my make up natural but I like my eyes to stand out and I don’t really use liquid eyeliner that much so I like to choose a mascara that gives me lots of definition and ‘oomph’ shall we say.

  4. Ritual Fortune Scrub – I got my first taste of the Ritual products from a magazine a while back (Perhaps GLAMOUR? Can’t remember!) and I tried the Ritual Fortune Scrub, now when I got my sample with the magazine I was surprised it was a full blown big bottle not the tiny little itty bitty samples you usually get so I was excited and hopeful that I liked this product because I had a ton of it in this sample. IT SMELLS LIKE PARADISE! literally, I feel like I’m on holiday in an exotic paradise when I use this! I usually don’t rate shower gels or scrubs because I’m never that impressed but this one is different! If you’ve tried it you’ll agree where I’m coming from and if you haven’t then you can buy it online quite cheap I believe πŸ™‚

  5. Eyebrow threading – Okay so I have something to admit, I shaved off one eyebrow BY ACCIDENT! 😦 You’d think I’d know better, but was totally accidental (I bet you’re all laughing now) So I lost my tweezers and as a student I couldn’t afford to have my eyebrows threaded/waxed again for a while so I quickly used a razor to try and get rid of the bottom hairs and the razor caught the rest of my eyebrow in the process! 😦 (If you weren’t laughing earlier bet you are now) So for a while I’ve been using an eyebrow pencil and you can’t see that it was shaved off viciously but now they’re kinda grown back (HOORAY!!!) so soon I shall pay for my eyebrows to be threaded πŸ™‚

That’s my 5 things I need to buy when I have the money, I hope you enjoyed it! Comment/like/subscribe/Tweet if you like lovelies! πŸ™‚

5 Things I Want To Learn By End Of This Year!

So I thought I would do a little post about 5 things I want to learn/do by the end of this year & I thought this would make a good post because we all have goals and such in life and completing them makes us happy right? Well the things I am about to list are things that if I accomplished this year I would feel super happy about doing! πŸ™‚

  1. Learn and gain a certificate in general first aid.
  2. Learn and gain a certificate in paediatric (children’s) first aid.
  3. Take my theory test.
  4. Start learning to drive.
  5. Gain and complete work experience.

Well hopefully by the end of this year all five of these things will be ticked off and I will be putting posts up if I get round to completing and doing any of them to let you all know! πŸ™‚

Is there any goals you have to complete before the end of this year?

Maxitone Definity Toning System Strawberry Flavour Review

A while ago I decided that I wanted to get fit and exercise more and tone up for summer (Just like everyone else) I have a pretty athletic/slim build but it was the toning which I wanted to concentrate on and definitely not weight loss! I love food to much anyway πŸ™‚

So I have started going on morning jogs around 10am because it’s the nicest feeling in the world to wake up and smell the fresh air and jog around a really nice park when the sun is out or it’s a little windy listening to my favourite music, I find it refreshing. But I am not a night jogger – too scary for me! Besides jogging I have started working out more specifically focusing around ab curls and plank exercises to strengthen my stomach muscles.

I actually also decided to look in Holland and Barrett for something which may aid my progress and I actually found Maxitone Definity Toning System which is a “Delicious high protein shake, helps your body to recover and repair after exercise” in Strawberry flavour.
I was a little skeptical at using it first because I wasn’t sure if it would work and also because I had never tried anything like this before! But after reading the back of the tub I decided that it would be beneficial to me as protein is well known for aiding healthy skin, hair and nails as well as body muscles.

Although the tub also states that it is key to have a healthy diet as well as doing exercise and incorporating Maxitone into this lifestyle will help you achieve maximum results.
The powder is meant to be mixed with 200ml of water and very honestly it doesn’t taste at all that nice, more like a watered down strawberry milkshake but I am still sticking at it πŸ™‚

So far I think it’s helping and working quite well and after looking at reviews online many people rated this one very high and I have to agree with them, it’s such a healthy idea!

Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint (Pomegranate 319) By Barry M

I love painting my nails like many of the thousands of other girls and ladies out there in the world who do too and it is always a constant hard decision about which nail varnish to choose and what shade to wear!

With all different colours and effects coming out on the market everyday I see nail polish and varnish that I adore a lot and would love to have, but of course I cant buy every single one. So the other day I decided to buy Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine in Pomegranate 319 because I had heard such good reviews about Gelly Hi-Shine on other bloggers pages and such so I thought why not! πŸ™‚

I love the colour, it is a vibrant pink which comes out looking dark but in natural light it looks very bright and to stop mine chipping I put two coats on because I find that stops nails chipping so easily when you do not have any glossy coats to apply.

I use to dislike Barry M a few years ago because I found their nail varnishes to be quite runny but in the last year I have brought quite a few as they’re becoming a quick favourite of mine! I certainly would wear this shade again as I think it is a great summery hint πŸ™‚

The 30 Day Crunch Challenge

So I decided to attempt the 30 day crunch challenge, something which has been circulating the internet for some time now and after reading reviews from celebrities and other girls saying it worked I thought I might as well give it a go!

Crunches are basically sit ups and this is to tone and build your stomach muscles, something which I particularly want to do in preparation for Summer. So I will attach the picture below for the amount of crunches you need to do each day, I am currently on day 3 so tomorrow is my day of rest luckily! But I can definitely feel it working already, my tummy muscles are starting to get tighter and I can see a change as well in before I started and 3 days in already.

Lately I feel as if I need and want to get fitter so I spent ages trying to find something, I didn’t want to diet or do some crazy detox so I think for now I will stick with exercise which is always good and healthy. So I will let you know how I am progressing with that (or if I give up!) and hopefully after day 30 I will have a toned tum! πŸ˜€
